The Uncaused Cause
Gareth Pugh cardigan ( I haven't taken it off from the last post), and Lambie pelt from Leather Impact- I'm definitely going back to get the long hair goat one that they have=my uniform for the past three weeks. AND ALSO: Still stressing over Gaultier's costumes, and still having TRON tasm. The contrast between the neon, grey scale skin, and animated background is beyond me.

the phantom
I love wearing things that make me feel like I'm lurking in the shadows.
Gareth Pugh jacket, Gareth Pugh suede fringed cardigan, Complex Geometries hooded dress, Justin roper boots. You should see the fringe cardigan when I'm dancing it's a phantasm of acid trailers, which continues with Pugh's fall collection theme of movement in relation to the body's.
Solomon's Seal, Ectoplasm

Yeah,
So I realize that I've been a bit of an epic fail on being a consistent blogger. Midterms have really been fucking me up.
Let's glimpse:
But fortunately, my new lover- THE Jean Pierre Braganza jacket of all Jean Pierre Braganza jackets has really been emotional support. I love the three dimensional quality of the jacket- how the front looks pieced on and the back has flaps that move with your shoulder blades. And the shoulders are angular perfection. IN places it's starting to scale, which is a much needed contrast to the the clean perforation and lines of the jacket. I'm wearing them with my Home Depot Paint Color Card House of Holland tights, Opening Ceremony dress, and Emma Cook boots that I never wear because they were obviously replaced by more favorable black and white platforms...
And for those of you that asked to see my tattoos:
1. This is the golden ratio in continued fraction form; the universe is connected.
2. This is from a Roy Lichtenstein painting- I'm a fan.
It's me, it's you, it's everything.

Tetragrammaton
Christian Joy's hand-me downs are the best because it gives me new things to destroy and they are usually really cool to begin with. I took the bottom seams out of this over sized tuxedo shirt, initially to get a good fray going, but the hanging string were begging for manipulatio. I can't fathom all of the ways that I can wear this- especially after a long week of class, but the main concept that needed to be explored today was the placement of the strings to determine the direction of the drapes. Its the next obvious step in my obsession with straps and negative space.

My new Kirkwoods, are very scary. It's a bit like having two animals on your feet, in fact the apartment cat goes a little wild when I walk around in them. The metal sculptural heel adds a very industrial feel to contrast the untamed goat hair- and it all ties into the twentyten dress that the designers/friends Nina, Jeff, and David so graciously let me wear before their show, which similar to the Kirkwood shoes is an accumulation of contrasts of the industrial and natural like.

brash and vulgar
Thankfully, DJing was a success. I also got a large amount of free alcohol, which is always a good thing My friend Jam ( see my header picture and previous posts to make the connection of who she is) finally moved to NYC and we are a bit out of control. I'm obsessed with her style, and thankfully she isn't stuck in the darkest of dark witchy fashion like I am; her outfits are always a colorful flow of creative thought. The other DJ, Zoe is CRAZY amazing and her outfits are a different level of fashion (crushed purple velvet pantsuits worn to a house party for example) which I myself am too afraid to venture into.

Girl's KNIGHT
I'm real sorry about photobucket's fuck up , I don't really have the money or time to fix it. It should be okay in a month or so.
And also, if you are in the Lower East Side after 10 or so you should drop by and enjoy the cosmic music that I will be DJing tonight at Arrow Bar. MMmm.
School started and it sucks. (FYI)

And Also
I hate things that look clean and pretty and finished. It's come to that.
I've gotten a few inquiries; if anyone wants me to make an earring for their intergalactic pleasure let me know. I have plenty of weave and leather and chain to go around for a fun little price. It costs about thirty-forty dollars to make + my labors of love+ the time travel costs of shipment to 2009.
do you know what I mean?
I'm really irritated that I have to go back to school. Partly because I get annoyed way too easily in the fashion studios (I have like four friends), and partly because I tend to drop off the face of the earth. I'm also having a bit of anxiety about what direction I want to go into for fall. I mean I'm about to exhaust this whole slash/ shapes/ grunge thing. Obviously I'm going to stay on the dark side for fall and for forever, but I feel like I've worn this look for two months straight and people are catching on..
I
And also, "My look" (one earring, and slashed rags) I was commissioned to make for the singer Cassie for her birthday party. I'm not sure if she wore it, but here it is.
OH and I'm super excited about my new Kirkwoods, but I have to keep them under wraps until the SEVEN/ Kirkwood party.
I'll give you a hint:
