Rad for More, Not Less.

Photobucket

So I went to the Rad Hourani diffusion line party/show last night. (The open bar for thirty minutes was not a good idea, as I grabbed as many drinks {the only free drinks being a choice of Champagne and a half a cup of liquor and a splash of juice}before it ended, and was subsequently drunk in my Gareth's before 7:53 PM, my friend Eric from Seven and I were about to fall over). {The picture above found from where did you get that. com adequately describes this} Any way, the show itself was a little disappointing. I mean I GUESS Rad has the cool kid look down and everything, but jersey pieces for $400? The jackets were good layering pieces, and I GUESS that it's wearable and edgy still. It was pretty much Rick Owens with a Rad flair. But considering that the shoes were the best part, and they weren't even from the diffusion line, I'd say it was a bit of a miss. The models looked amazing though, and I do love Rad. I just wish he would have pushed it a bit more. Sorry for the shit pictures; I don't really have a camera anymore.

from the looks of it, i agree. i expected just a little more. however i'm into a few things, esp. the pants (rad's pants are always the best) and hopefully some of this stuff is affordable.

I feel the same as you, it is a good idea in theory, but the execution needs some tweeking. I am pretty sure Petar Petrov did a pair of split knee pants like those a few seasons ago.
